This has to be one of my favorite writing projects to date! A Family’s Strength is a series of short stories I wrote based on the myth of Odysseus, specifically his return to his home of Ithaca. The Odyssey was one of my favorite stories growing up, and it felt great to pay tribute to the myth by creating my own retelling. Each short story is told from the perspective of a different character: Penelope, Telemachus, and Odysseus. They are currently posted on Medium, so you can read the full series right now.
